Still think they will struggle if they lose a forward or two.
wont be long until one coach instructs his players to wind murdoch-misalla (sp?) up, get him binned or sent off
looks to have a short fuse and could easily be wound up, like brough a great player but bites easily

Think same regarding their need to keep some forwards fit. But huraki vidot n sau to come in from tonight's game. Not a bad looking team. Looking at tonight's game. They struggled with walmsley. Trouble for saints he was their only1. We had all our starting pack and bench. As long as our pack is mostly on its game we'll be in the mix in most games

Well that sets down a marker for the season. Saints defence absolutely ripped apart, too early to say if that is going to cause them a problem but a lot of teams will be analysing that performance tomorrow and targeting the weakest players. It was nice to see a team with some urgency, running straight at the defence, taking the tackles, there was real desire from Salford tonight. Good performance to bounce back from what we did to them.
For me Roby is the best player in SL and has been for a long time now. When he plays Saints are a different prospect, but him playing covers up a lot of inadequacies in the squad. A lot of those playing last night wouldn't get anywhere near our best 17. In fact the more I look at other squads the more I think that we have as good a chance as anyone of winning something this year.
Salford were really good, and I did tip them to win, but that was a pretty pathetic effort by some of those Saints players. Wilkin made 3 carries for 5 metres. He should be ashamed at that.

I saw 6-1 to win outright, but bottled it.
With the injuries he had to key players, Cunningham really messed up not playing Fages from the off and Burns not at all.
