Seems to me that Pearson has well and truly had his pants pulled down over the Academy merger. A mistake of a similar magnitude to the appointment of Radford. I suspect that he will be similarly unable to admit that he was wrong though and so we'll plough on with it regardless.
Pearson's ego is beginning to become an issue.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

I took exception to the sneering way supporter was put in inverted commas, like having a different opinion to the club makes me less of a fan. It's been one extreme to another on this board for a long time now, everything has to be 'pro HullFC' or 'Anti HullFC' when ultimately we are all fans of the same club!
There is no wonder commercial revenue is down. Ignoring the fact we've been rubbish for years, we have no professional marketing team and the club seem to regularly find was of alienating the fan base. Throw in an ill thought out merger with our nearest and dearest and you can see why businesses aren't dipping in their pockets.
As much as rule had his faults, he was a qualified marketer and very personable with the sponsors and we don't seem to have replaced his skills since he went. I believe sarah macallister is in charge of corporate marketing but I don't know what background she has and at a time when money is short we need the best we can get to weedle it out of businesses
