Isn't everyone entitled to an opinion?
I read this forum and do not post often but the amount of times people just resort to insults as a reply is ridiculous on here. I don't know what he's done to offend you other than disagree and its the same as a previous post I've just read by hull 2524, again another attempt to wind people up, why?
I wonder what this forum would be like if we actually stuck to discussing the thread and had reasoned debate.
I'm far from an expert on him but I've seen him play a couple of times and he is very big, very physical and, whilst not blessed with blinding pace, he can shift for a big man.
We are putting together an exciting squad. My main concern is the hooking options, and more specifically the fact I haven't even heard that we are looking for a hooker. We cant go into a season with Washbrook as 2nd hooker surely? Even if we sign a bit of a project, we need someone. Who has been playing there for the 19's since Parker left, and is he anywhere near being ready?

To be fair, it's the same thing over and over again, 90% about Yeaman. He us a typical poster who will be on here as soon as we lose, but no where to be seen if there positive.
I'm sure about 3 weeks ago he said he was finished with the club.
I'm all for constructive criticism but there has to be balance.

Josh Wood, but this is last year and I don't think he is good enough.
Jez Litten has played there a few times and looked really good, but he has just turned 17, has also played halfback and FB recently.
Hard to sign a hooker to sit in the stands. Who would come?

He doesn't have to be sat in the stands. A guy with Houghtons work rate shouldn't be playing 80 mins every week. Not only is it bad for him in terms of prolonging his career, but him being tired stifles our attack.

Whilst I agree Houghton is wasted playing just 40 minutes we found that out when we had Heremia, both were too good to only play 40 mins. Ideally he would play 60 minutes, but it isn't worth having a hooker on the bench to play 20 minutes, waste of a bench spot.
Think that's Radfords thinking with Washbrook, not sure it's the right player for that role though.

I didnt insult him. Every single post by that account knocks the club, Radford or Yeaman. He/she has nothing positive to say and disappears after a win. Maybe it's a wind up account, I don't know, but it's loving boring.

While I agree that with many signings some fans get it completely wrong, and often don't have then ability to judge potential of players and judge it completely at face value, for example I think sometimes fans would sooner sign a player who's played 100 average NRL games then a kid tearing it up in the reserve grade but I don't agree with the notion that you can't have an opinion on a player until he's played for the club.
This signing is as near perfect as you can make, so of course only a numpty would question it, he's young, experienced, proven, played at a much higher level, has the stats, size, a position that we need to strengthen, seems to get it right off the field and has no baggage. Wonderful signing, myself and every other fan I've spoke to is really excited to watch the lad play.
Take Washbrook for example though, are people supposed to just forget what we've seen before in the blind hope that he transforms in the off season? I've you've got an opinion on a player voice it, just be prepared to have to defend that opinion if it's stupid.
