So just to confirm you're saying the fans shouldn't believe what the club tells them? Thanks for clarifying that. I'll remember it in future.

Couldn't have put it any better myself! It's the years of hype and no delivery that's made me weary. There's nothing duller than being mid table also-rans.
What people resent is a club that has worse players coming in than the ones who have left and still expect to get better or same results now that's insanity

And if no one promised anything then there'd be folk on here claiming lack of ambition. They certainly wouldn't be on here claiming everything in the world was rosy. They might even claim that the club and its happy clappers 'support mediocrity'.
Pearson has made mistakes with his own money. He's also got many things right including his investment in youth. It's interesting how much more is made of the negatives than the positives by some on here. To resent something is to feel bitterness and indignation towards it. I've been disappointed so many times by Hull FC in all the years I've been watching them but if I ever felt bitterness towards the club I wouldn't bother following it.

Just to confirm, with the best will in the world, no chairman can predict what their team will achieve. A bit complicated, I know.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
Huddersfield have consistently been near the top of the table and have won the 'hub cap' far better than our recent SL efforts, Koucash is however off his tits!

Our recruitment isn't finished, then you can judge if the players coming in are better or worst than the ones leaving.
Radfords and Tonys first full recruitment was pretty good wasn't it, Pryce, Sneyd, Naughton and mini haven't been bad have they?
