Lineham didn't want to leave as has been intimated in the HDM, he has been sold to raise money. Tom did an interview last month with Sky which was on sky rugby internet page.He was asked about the transfer rumours and said he was very happy at the club but if the club wanted to sell him he had little option.

If you are suggesting he is being sold against his wishes that's just not true.
I haven't seen the Sky interview but its different to what he has been telling people privately.

He has clearly been offered a decent salary to tempt him to agree though. If Wire came knocking offering the club silly money and offering similar to Tom, it's pretty obvious what is going to happen.
