How many times have we had the same post from the same posters It cant be finished but it has to be several levels up in quality to what is already coming in and i doubt that will happen. Quite obvious we are struggling at this level

I don't like the sound of all this letting players go and taking stock/sitting on our hands and waiting to see what becomes available stuff. We need to be proactive and making 'unavailable' players offers if that's what it takes. I know there isn't much out there and even less that would want to come here, but to me it smacks of last seasons and the previous ones late rush to sign what turned out to be little more than mediocrity.

two game Jed Lets see if he can string a few games together so we cant ignore him Jury"s out regarding Abdull and a huge gamble by the club That said if we can find a real running half to work with him and keep him fit then it could come off. What is obvious especially at Wigan is just how poor our kicking from hand is and Abdull will certainly improve both that and our last tackle option

It's just the lazy comment I found odd, for all we know he has been solidly working 12 hours day contacting every agent in the southern hemisphere but to little avail or he might have been getting unreal scores on Minesweeper and just ringing a couple of blokes in Leigh instead. We have no way of knowing.
He should have made a trip to Australia a priority to introduce himself to players and agents especially as he knew we needed a quality halfback but instead chose the easy route and recruit a quantity of average players. One quality player is far better than two or three average Joes as we will find out next season when we line up with Briscoe,Hardaker and Chamberlain as our first choice backs

Yeh but in all honesty I know Dan Tomlinson pretty well, he's a savvy guy and he knows what's going on and who can honestly say they are over joyed with a comment he makes like, "The Black and Whites, who will see Jake Trueman depart the club at the end of the season, are understood to be taking stock a bit before launching another serious move".
We might get two top notch quota signings but we all know we might not!!! Why let Truman go until we have someone else signed. He might not have cut the mustard of late but he knows the game backwards and under a new coach and attacking regime and particularly a new fitness and conditioning team, he could still be better than a lot of the second hand joes that are out there waiting to be 'snapped up' in desperation.

Yes it's tedious when posters make the same point over and over again, isn't it?

I'd rather him here sorting things out to be honest. He can go to aus early next season and do the agent thing. Is it a necessity anyway in this day and age. Plenty of things can be done over Zoom now
