I have seen from Rovers fans it was a reserve team etc, but that starting 13 was full experienced first team players, they should be going better than that a few international players and one of the MOS favourites playing.
It happens. We got hammered by Feb in Whiting's testimonial. We went on to finish 11th after a very poor year. You can't say much about friendlies but you can't say anything good about getting beaten like that. Rovers will struggle this year I think.

Waiting for Appleyards spin on it.

There was quite a lot of complaining on here at the start of the off season (much of it over the top, IMO) that the club was distant from the fans and that there was a lack of information or news.
Have to say that in recent weeks I've been pretty impressed. The 'reloaded' videos have been very interesting such as the one released on SM today.

Put simply it’s either a one off or a first sign that something isn’t right. We won’t know for a few weeks.
If we look like we’ve no shape, energy, enthusiasm and haven’t practiced with ball in hand during pre-season in our next friendly I’ll be worried. The reserve team thing doesn’t wash with me either; yes it was far from our strongest but they just didn’t look coherent as a unit even allowing for losing Litten early on.
Head and heart both say that a rusty, mix-and-match Hull KR team didn’t really fancy it. Not great but… m’eh, from a fan’s perspective. If it wasn’t for the memory of getting tonked by Huddersfield in pre-season 2016 and that being such an obvious herald of the poop show that was to follow, I probably wouldn’t entertain the alternative as such.

Pre season is usually pretty boring but think we've been fairly busy with the Smith, Clifford and Connor news.
Wish we'd had a few more of those reloaded videos. It's great when the club puts out content like that.
We've had loads of content this week. Tony Smith did an interview on FC Live and Humberside.
Carlos and Griffin on Humberside too, plus all the stuff in HDM.

I guess our team tomorrow will be similar in terms of those missing. Hopefully we'll turn up with the right attitude but who knows?

Quite a few fiest choice 17 missing I guess - Tuimavave, Sutcliffe, Trueman, Sao, Evans, Savelio, plus Brown, Wynne, Shaul etc - but that looks a strong starting line-up.
Looks a really good starting 13 in my opinion and still many first teamers missing. Centres the potential weak spot in that team today, but look good with Sutcliffe and Carlos back in
