Stats tell the story of the game for me. I thought we were pretty dominant and other than a 20 minute spell we controlled the game and really, overall, the scoreline flattered wakey. All the whining about the ref on their board is pathetic

I never get whining about refs, it is the same ref for both teams so bad decisions will go to both teams throughout the game, wrong refereeing decisions are part or every sport.

According to that thread Hull were always off side, never played the ball in the correct place and constantly holding down, on Twitter a Wakey fan even claimed the 40/20 (take note bumby) wasn't a 40/20.
Wakey are lucky as if Child was Reffing they would have had something to moan about.
Spot on there Dave lad, too much said about Silverwood taking the gloss off a very good hard fought game, played in the right spirit as well.

Great stats for Shaul. Obviously some distance behind Hardaker this term, but still: 1 Try 2 Assists 6 Tackle Busts 3 Attacking Kicks 178 Metres 9.4m Av gain
Just 42 tackles for Houghton this week, shocker. Mini's average gain 14.1m.

I'm not sure he's that far behind him. Defence is Hardaker's strongest area, as well as his sheer work rate, but in attack he's pretty average and easy to pick out and wrap up because he doesn't have that footwork to create a gap, and you know he's unlikely to find a killer pass.
Hardaker; 1 try, 2 assists, 49 busts, 1,166meters, 6 clean breaks, 15 offloads Shaul; 9 tries, 5 assists, 48 busts, 1,506meters, 11 clean breaks, 5 offloads Hardaker may have missed a couple more games than Shaul

Grow up.
Grow up? Yeah, alright Dad...
A man already motionless and held by two tacklers, not expecting it takes one right on the button...and that's OK in your world?
If that had been a Wigan player on one of yours I'm sure you would be calling it very differently!
I like Gaz Ellis, always have done having watched him come through the ranks from academy to first team and all what's followed in his career. He's not and never has been a dirty player but that doesn't excuse that tackle IMO..
I think he could be looking at three games plus personally...he was penalised early on for a cannonball tackle, 3rd man in...did that on Simon, and was involved in the tackle that left Tupou needing 15 stitches and from what I've heard looks worse than that one...
Maybe our chairman is getting just a little peed off at the inconsistency from the disciplinary panel when we've had bans for Arona and Scruton for nothing tackles then last week a Sheffield player injures Arundel for a month with a needless cannonball tackle, clear as day on the video and gets away no case to answer..

Absolutely!
On resources and everything we should be rock bottom again...quite enjoyable continually proving the doubters wrong...we've come a long way already in the last two years and are a definite work in progress and a big improvement on last year...
