Totally agree, anybody with any sense would have a plan B lined up should plan A fail particularly when others in similar instances have failed with their plans.
For me there is still a bit of hope as Crocker didn't just appeal but reapplied with character references and testimonials to back up his application etc. I assume the reason for the re application was after seeking professional advice on this matter.
Time will tell soon I guess, but if he is unsuccessful for this season I hope we still bring him in for next season.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
If there's nothing on that link, then there's nothing actually been reported or rumoured, Wilfs and Herts FCs 'sources' are only as good as ours on here.
It was only last week Crocker and Purcell were confident it would come through and there has been nothing in the Aus press to suggest anything different.....as yet.

All existing and generally known ways to immortality can be divided into four catagories.
The way of the Fakir.
The way of the Monk.
The way of the Yogi.
The most honourable being 'The way of the FC'

All I know is that I pace the house everyday like an expectant Father waiting for the news. I don't think I can hold on for much longer waiting for news on MC's visa. For the love of jeff, will someone make an announcement soon and let us know either way.
The Mighty Hull FC, Carlsberg don't do rugby league clubs....but if they did..........
