Don't think we'll be troubling the judges again this year so we're 25% of the way there.
I was unconvinced when Hodgson was recruited.
I was even less convinced when he decided to bring Reynolds with him. And I'd have Sneyd over Gale every day of the year.
I also think Mau is a very good player. Just hasn't had chance to show what he's all about in a pretty poor team.

If everyone run the ball in, the way mau does we’d be getting somewhere

Another poor performance by Connor. He continues to only star when FC are on top in a game. I cannot remember when he was even half decent when the team were under pressure. Think his score of 4 today was generous. Coupled with 4 for Reynolds and 5 for Gale says it all. To complete the spine Houghton on 6 was a standout.

Does anyone still say Connor for England?

We’ve been here before though. They had a few years finishing above us under Justin Morgan. We only started regularly winning derbies after minute 60 in 2016.
Not sure why people are making out it’s a massive achievement being top dog in Hull. It’s not as if we’re the standard bearers of super league.
At least the KR keyboard warriors will have something to do now, hence why people now don’t bother using these boards as much.

Who's worse Reynolds or Thorman?

Reynolds. At least with Thorman we thought we were getting a talented player. I’ve seen nothing from Reynolds to even suggest it.

I agree it's not a massive achievement, but it's derby day so it's relevant today. The Saints Wigan derby as ever was several notches higher than ours in terms of quality and why outside of our city is seen as the definitive match up. Who knows what happens next? We have a rough few weeks ahead no doubt, whilst Rovers will reach the CC final and go above us in the table. Our pressing concern is sorting our pivots out and quickly.

Really struggling to see any positives at the moment, struggling for money, stuck in a half empty ground that is threatening our future, with just about the slowest squad I have ever seen at the club.

Massive doubts about Hodgson for me too, not seeing any improvements to the end of the Radford and then Last days. Maybe he's too 'nice' to the players?

Both sets of fans are too obsessed with the Derby, nearly every one since it returned in 2007 has been a mid table contest. One playoff derby in 15 seasons says it all (and we even lost that!)

Yes it's by far each clubs biggest revenue maker and yes it hurts when you lose one...but surely both clubs want the dream of a top4/playoff/cup final derby not a scrap for 7th place like it often is.

I don't think we've appointed an experienced first team coach since Peter Sharp.

Agar, Gentle, Radford, Last, Hodgson all in their rookie job at the top level.

My favourite coach out of those named by a country mile.

Many former players say he is the best they played for, he was unlucky that we got an awful injury run on 2008.

But yes we always seem to go for untested assistants, we probably can't even afford to pay Hodgson off anyway, so not a lot of point speculating :(
