Managed to snag some comp tickets off a mate, arrived at the ground and we were directed to the East stand reception. We were then directed upstairs and told you have use of that room, with a random point to a door down a coridoor. Fair enough, trotted into the room and realised it was the Directors lounge. Everyone else suited and booted, me and Digger in jeans & FC shirts. All the BBC commentary team there, plus many RL legends and Directors and families from both teams. Cue best behaviour. Had a good natter with Mal Reilly, Motu Tony, Lee Crooks, etc.
Great fun in the Directors Box stood up all game chanting. An unforgettable evening.

They had quite a few in the West stand, almost as many as behind the sticks I thought, but still, maybe 2500-2800? As for the excuses, either you want to go and make it happen or you're not that bothered., I think it was the latter as a lot of Wigan fans are fed up with the way their team are playing despite being in with a shout for silverware still.

Fair play to the Wigan fans who did turn up and shook our hands afterwards. For all the ones who never your a embarrassment to the game. Hull fans regularly travel further on a Friday for a league game without as much complaint. If last night had been at Leigh I still would of bet on us out numbering you.#blacknwhitearmy

I just don't understand the lack of Wigan support. Sure, the Friday night thing makes is more difficult but I know loads of people who took a half day, full day to back our boys, and from West Yorkshire even with traffic the trip took an hour. They can't say they've got success fatigue either. I find it baffling for a club that most regard as the biggest in the game.

Great defensive display, not so good in attack and dumb at times with too many penalties and mistakes but the spirit in this team is amazing. Fans were great too
I'll save any comments on the ref until I've watched it back

I was very surprised by the poor wigan support a bit like Warringtons support last year in our semi
