I called it if I do say so myself ha. Said I fancied carlos in a joel moon kinda mould. A half who will make his name as a centre. He looks just like moon if not better on his feet Just wanted to give a special mention to Gaz Ellis. Vs rovers when he hit the dirt I said straight away that's him done. Thought it would finish him. But tonight he just went as if he'd never been out and between him and frank swung the match our way! Leader of men. A Machine. Legend of the game whom I'm glad to have seen wear my teams colours
With regards the disallowed try, I though Shaul's was really close, would have liked to see a camera angle that looked straight down the touchline. The second one was the right call though, pretty sure his toe scraped the line.
Some massive performances across the board. I've liked Talanoa since he made his debut, but with some good service and a classy centre he has gone to a new level. Tuimavave was great again, just a shame he was too casual with that pass to Shaul. I also thought that despite conceding a couple of tries down his side Michaels did really well and proved a capable deputy.
Sneyd and Pryce bossed it. If that is Sneyd with a bad back then he's going to terrorise defences when hes 100%. All of front row were excellent again, and credit to Minichiello. I said that he was quiet last week and I would have brought in Ellis for him. I stand by that, but I thought he was really good tonight. Green will get plenty more chances, but I think that is probably our best pack and injuries aside thats what I'd go with against Cas.
Final word to the captain. Not the best game I've ever seen him play, but first game back after so long out with a bad injury, that was pretty impressive. I expected him to play maybe 20 minutes and plod around a bit trying to get up to speed, but he made a real impact. Proper pro.

Actually tipped both you and Warrington to do well this year and there's no reason why one of you cannot win a trophy or two. Great pack and some good backs. Sneyd looks good with the only weak link in Pryce for me. Maybe it's a Bradford Bulls thing for me.
Well played Hull. I can't remember if ever in recent years the last time a side won so convincingly at Catalan. With Salford stuffing stains it makes your round one win even more impressive. Looks like it could be an exciting year for guys and you should be right up there contesting for honours.
Brill display well done lads, I remember when we signed carlos there where a few on here said he couldn't pass had no pace, bet there eating there words now, again well done lads COYH

Brilliant performance!
Bossed the game from start to finish. Second half game management was the best for a long time. A couple of early breaks were we didn't force the pass; maintaining possession for 80% of the time when Pryce was in the Bin and scoring 8 points in the process. Forcing goal line drop outs; and some great field kicking by Sneyd.
Also no sloppy tries conceded in the last 20 minutes.
Great effort by all tonight. Big praise to Radford and his coaching/recruiting team. I was critical last season, but credit where credit is due. The improvement is clear to see!
