Absolutley nothing wrong with the Abdul signing, our kicking games terrible, weve addressed that by signing one of the leagues top kickers , i also like how he organises which again were terrible at, a disinterested houghton throwing the ball to a prop on the 5th AGAIN last game. Itl be nice to have a senior player who organises properly

The centre position, is Roman Dawson ready? Very highly rated and will be in the 1st team squad next year

Think Okunbor and Pele will both be moved on,, if so can see us signing a quota hooker and prop

I'd be amazed if we signed a quota 7 and prop.

Centre and hooker is by far our weakest positions , both in terms of quality and depth. Need to use ant quota spots on those IMO.

so abdul has a great kicking game and is a great organiser but you want us to sign a quota 7?

In fact I got accused of the opposite when I questioned the loan signing of Aydin a few weeks back.
Amazing how fans try to accuse you of being one or the other the minute your opinion differs to theirs?

But I get the feeling you are going to criticise Abdull no matter what he achieves this season.

Granted I haven’t seen that much of their games this season but I caught a bit of the Saints game the other day and he looked far from knackered. It was around the hour mark and he was leading their line speed in defence. A Saints player made a break and he caught them up and dragged them down. He certainly didn’t appear lazy like some of our current squad do.

and yet I saw a part of the same game where someone ran around him whilst he struggled to get anywhere near and was flailing his arms around in thin air.

The proof of the pudding will be in the eating (no pun intended) but I'll be amazed if he plays 40 games for us in those 3 years.

Like I said, 5 try assists in a team competing at the top looks pretty poor to me

They will be no rush in getting Roman Dawson into the first team after his ACL injury the other month. I would suspect 2026 would be the year we really start to see him break into first grade (should he continue to impress as he has).

I'd be very surprised if we don't end up with Leutele or Lafai to be honest unless Cartwright with his knowledge of the game in Aus has other ideas. Corey Paix would certainly improve us significantly at 9.

It remains to be seen whether any of Okunbor, Pele or even Sao will remain at the club for 2025 as yet as I imagine Cartwright will have a big say on those.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Probably Rodrick Tai or Neve Mcdonald the way our recruitment is going, particularly the latter PNQ and use to play for Leigh.

To be honest Jake when we let Jordan leave us, I recall saying we are going to miss that booming left peg of his, it’s a great part of his armoury, and causes absolute mayhem in the defensive ranks, we have badly missed a quality kicker since Sneyd went, his fitness issues will always be a blight on his signing, but as we are rumoured to be getting a fitness obsessed coach, Jordan will never have a better opportunity to progress.

The kicking game we have now, is unbelievably from Danny, the rest Clifford, Nu Brown, Smith, and up to now Trueman have been second rate, Jordan hopefully will alter this hole we have.

Opinions will differ, and concerns will prevail, but not so long ago a well respected scribe on hear, announced Swift as a sausage fingered signing, and will not succeed, it all opinions and thoughts, personally almost all the replacement that has/will happen is a much better scenario than we were left with, the only criticism if I must look for one, is the age of replacements coming in, but I suppose we can balance this against the number of our projects coming through.

I’m sure we will evolve the team ongoing, and up to now from me it’s a great start from Myler and the investors.
