They've not made many other signings aside from Burgess have they? Wonder if Davey is thinking of pulling the plug?
Still cant see anything other than Wakefield replacing London. Travel costs are a huge question mark over Toulouse. A lot of Bradford's support has drifted away during their decade in exile and Odsal is a money drain.
Huddersfield and Salford drag SL down due to lack of interest. Theres been a league leaders shields, CC finals, a grand final, men of steel...yet only 3 men and a dog turn up

Davy has consistently put his money where his mouth is over the years can’t see him just letting them go to the wall, and even if he did we might not be much better off.
I was told “it was his wife’s dying wish that he stays at Huddersfield ad infinitum”. Can’t see him giving up on them.

Yep, he’s pumped money in for years with a varied level of success it has to be said but he’s always kept them somewhere near. I don’t see that changing.
In contrast it looks like we’ve been or are still close to going to the wall financially and haven’t had a competitive side for 5 years. The only difference is now we’ve had Adam say in couple of interviews that he’s confident of bringing in a couple of mystery investors in by the end of the year. Don’t get my wrong I think AP’s does his best in difficult situation and has taken a hit in his own wallet but I’m not sure the whole investment scenario isnt overstated and is just trying to buy himself some time.

I over heard that the new investors will take over the club 100% but Adam will remain for two years to ensure the transition goes smoothly.

Hope that’s the case if someone does buy the club. AP made it pretty clear that there was no interest from inside the city so I’m guessing they’ll be unfamiliar with the club. Makes sense to have someone familiar around

Its highly likely the investor is Myler's future father in law, its all too coincidental otherwise.
Can only assume that news will be dropped at season pass sale time 'roll up roll up we're rich now, things can only get better, stay faithful'

This isn’t his money - NO way
Whoever is spending the Cash and it’s a shed load , would first want control!
Wouldn’t you ?
Where has the shed load of cash being spent? We’ve appointed a DOR and re-installed Ellis in a coaching role. We’ve also agreed some king of severance packages with the coach, his assistant and a couple of players at least. That’s nothing new at the club though, and the way performances went something had to give and seems a reactive measure.
Things certainly look to be heading in the right direction, but that’s in the context of how we’ve underinvested especially in off field roles in recent years. We’ve hardly been throwing the cash about have we?

Think it might be the year after, wait for a better recruitment cycle.Saying that alot will have been spent paying players and coaches off. We will be definitely be spending more on the squad next year, going from 1 to 3 marquee players. Hopefully further investment in backroom staff.

There’s no way ‘the investment’ isn’t linked to AT. I’m just questioning the belief that he’s going to buy the club outright and pump in loads of money.
The question is how much of an investment would it take to get a family member a nice start at Hull? Probably wouldn’t have to be massive investment at a club like Hull desperate for any kind of cash injection.
