I don't understand why the "love in" for Watts, never did for King either, players more interested in ale than playing...

There's been a few of those over the years but despite it have produced the goods on the pitch like Watts.

Maybe the Alibi Albi name is true with him being on the razzle tonight in town.......or maybe some players can drink and get to training on time

I just wanted to correct the above, after getting more information. It may have been an approved drink as a lot of players were out - Mini, Taylor, Sneyd, Connor, Faraimo, Kelly etc.

Maybe they wanted a group event to get over the previous week

Matty Russell rumour doing the rounds! Good signing??

Just asked t'other half as he commentates on Warrington so obviously knows his abilities. He said "I like him, always have. Only problem is these days he’s a bit small for a winger but he’ll make you plenty of metres from dummy half".

Where would Matty Russell fit in to our squad really though? If purely for a wing spot I'd rather we gave Jack Sanderson a chance at the first team as he has all the attributes needed he looked good in pre season and seems to be doing well at Donny.
Whilst he may get good metres from dummy half he certainly isn't a hooker and would be putting a square peg in a round hole just to make do.

I have always liked Russell but the Warrington fans seem to see him as a liability. Much better at full back than on the wing, but despite Shaul's poor start to the season he isnt going to come straight in and take the starting FB spot. He could be a starter for any number of teams, so if he was being signed for FB cover/to put pressure on Shaul I'm not sure why he would want to warm the bench here. Not really sure where he would fit into the squad.
