Other results could make some big differences to those in and around us this weekend. Hopefully Rovers beat Cas, but if they don't, and Catalans beat Wire we have 3 teams behind us on 26 points to our 28. One of us will miss out.

It could be. I think Catalans last 5 games include the bottom 4 or something like that. Wigan are improving and Powell's told his lot to go unbeaten now. Some will benefit from getting Saints/Wire either side of Wembley. We still have to play Saints. Miles off being a certainty IMO.

It's arrogance and presumption to assume we'll be in the top 5. 10 points up for grabs still and we have an awful points difference. Of course I hope we'll make it but it's far from secure.

I’m not sure it’s arrogance, saints aside, we shouldn’t fear anyone with a fit squad. Agree with your earlier post, I think if we’d of had 2 of the 4 players available for the Wigan game, would of made a big difference to our pack and probably won us the game. Paea and manu a big loss

One thing's for sure, whatever the quality, this season has been a success from a competition perspective (apart from Saints battering everyone). 5 rounds to go and there are still 6 (arguably 7) in competition for the top 5, and 5 in the mix for relegation.

On paper looks a good comp, but look at that tonight, 44-0 or whatever it was, that’s not entertaining, but makes the league table look competitive, been to much of that this season

I agree. Got in at half time of last night's game. Switched it on, saw the score and switched straight off again.
There's no fun in watching games as a neutral that are lopsided like that.
