I think it's pretty obvious why Lineham has left, he and our other talents see other clubs more likely to bring them success/silverware and with that there's a greater chance of recognition for international honours.
Of course any extra money is nice but if you've had enough of a club for whatever reason more money won't keep you there.
It's a sad indictment of where our club is at, at least from the young talented players POV
