I hadn't realised the RFL was a premium rate number, I apologise if White Star was offended. He/She did post the Doncaster number on Wednesday, so mind isn't totally shot!
Hopefully everyone has/gets the tickets they need.

Are you sorted now? (I hadn't seen mention of 2 hours on the phone last week, did you also try online and have the same issue?)

The Keepmoat number was for the disabled car parking as passed on to me from the RFL. I wasn't offended, just wanting some people to accept that there was a problem for some of us who chose to go down the route that the club advertised for Wednesday tickets.
As others have said, what should have been a straightforward transaction (a little wait on the phone or a queue on line acceptable) turned into something of a farce. For what its worth I was on holiday on Wednesday, coming home Saturday afternoon, I originally was happy they were on sale online or via RFL because I thought they would be going on sale from the club while I was away. I'd be intrigued to know what the reasons where for doing it the way they did, it worked perfectly well last year, the tickets being sold from a couple of terminals from the club shop.

I don't think the club will explain, unless people write to them etc. Let's hope we win and any issues people had are worthwhile.
Chris71 wrote:What I think has been the major issue regarding the ticket availability for the SF is the total lack of any sort of clarity on the whole ticket sales situation.
1. Tickets available before Saturday inline with RFL request but not the Hull FC members allocations 2. Tickets go on sale at 10am weds in fact it was 9am so for those that tried at 10 it was an impossible task 3. Tickets for the disabled members & fans again difficult to obtain whether plenty available or not 4. Members tickets having to be bought from the Stadium on Saturday and no facilty for online sales again for members making it difficult to obtain tickets.
Whether there were tickets a plenty the issue for me is as a club Hull FC have for whatever the reasons made what should have been a fairly straight forward process of buying tickets in to a total farce and made obtaining tickets difficult.
Here here Chris, and exacerbated by lack of foresight which allows the possibility of Hull and Leeds playing together and having only the option of the Keepmoat as a semi final venue. It just makes everything more difficult as some people will do the quick maths and realise there could be problems getting tickets so to make sure they get what tickets they need, many feel compelled to queue when there is no need, and a larger venue would have taken away that added complication.
PCollinson1990 wrote:It hasn't been difficult though.
It was difficult for those who felt the need to queue through the night. Whether their concerns were real or not, The whole situation created this anxiety and it can't have been pleasant for those who were there from the early hours and some even before the game had finished. Being outside when it's raining with no cover I've been told is more than difficult.

.... but why should the club be blamed for this? Did they tell the RFL to start selling tickets early?
The RFL advertised 10:00 ....

I've not blamed the club I have said it has been poorly organised and handled and pointed out the issues.
Whether we like it or not the whole ticket situation has been poorly handled by those concerned be it our club and/or the RFL, there has even been an admission of sorts by the RFL saying they were overwhelmed with demand on Weds.
What should have been a simple transaction has been made into something far more difficult than it needed or should have been.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
