It was pretty warm when we took Saints to the cleaners in an earlier round. Won't be an issue for our team we've shown countless times this season that we are fit and finish strongly.

Doubt we'll see him in the first team again ever at Wire, not buying into the programme, especially the diet.

Swings and roundabouts, both teams are fit, big guys tire quicker in heat.

I personally don't think it will favour one team over another.

Our style needs good weather, as we have shown time and time again rain doesn't suit us.

I don't think that big guys tire quicker in the heat at all. Fitter players last better no matter what the conditions and our fitness is excellent. There seems to be this misconception that we have a team of lumbering giants but I've yet to see us run out of steam in a game this year and we've won plenty in the final 10 minutes.

Hewer has been a ref since 2004, however his full time job is/was an engineer team leader at Sellafield nuclear power station. So despite taking senior games as early as 2007 incl our defeat of Sheffield in the cup and 10 games in 2009 and 2010 he dropped off the radar between 2011-2015 in which he only reffed 9 games total with one SL match. He's done almost 20 games this season though.
Apparently he's only 34!
