It's not rewarding anyone for anything. It's discretionary spending on a leisure activity, the value of which is purely subjective. Criticising others for how they spend their leisure money is extremely patronising.

I can't see anything in the AUP which it offends against.

If you can't criticise what other people say or do (provided you don't do it in a threatening or abusive way) this would be a pretty boring place.
