Well there are a lot of valid opinions on here which you dont agree with so i have to ask the question is it you that doesnt know anything about rugby?

Just my imo, I just don’t get the X factor from him, like a lot of people obviously do, just doesn’t make enough happen for me, ie bust tackles, offloads in the tackle for his winger etc
Literally nobody has said that Carlos is a world beater just as nobody compared Josh Griffin to Mal Meninga.

Again, this is more hyperbole. Why do people have to exaggerate?
Carlos has been a great signing. Probably doesn't score enough tries but rarely would rate below 7/10. One of our most important players and in my opinion one of our best overseas signings in the Super League era.

Agree hyperbole, not to be taking literally, still I do think he’s a little overrated

Carlos never has had the pace or the footwork to be classed as a great signing, but boy he is still one of the best around, he’s no slouch mind, and in the clear he takes some catching, he has solid defensive qualities, and seemingly a superb team player and model professional.
Also when you see him close up in games he doesn’t half put a good hit on. Gemmel, Barnett, and Jimmy L were great centres,
Carlos falls in the Yeamo/Griffin category, mostly 100% effort every game, just missing that explosive spark to be classed as a great.

One of the best?
Er Well I'd say Jason Smith, Richard swain, Albert Kelly, Stephen Kearney, Colin best, Willie manu, Sam moa are definitely above him
Even Richie Barnett snr was far and away better than Carlos
He's good but he's never top class
I've never seen him rip top teams apart like names above could

I was agreeing with you until you said Sam moa... Really he was good to put him in the same sentence as swain Smith etc I personally don't think so I like Carlos always a 7/10 performance wise I think if he was in a saints or Wigan team his game would rise another level bit like leutele never really rated him at Toronto but smashing it with a better team and better player's

Carlos, Connor and even Houghton aren't our biggest issue.
Halfback is the massive issue, Reynolds added another 6 missed tackles to his talley, I wouldn't mind if he offered anything in attack, but he is shocking, certainly one of if not the worst signings we have made in SL. I wouldn't play him again, we would gain so much more from playing Litten or Hookem.
Added to this Lovodua would whilst done a decent job at 6, it's not his position.
Gale has been Ok, but the bans haven't helped. He should be in this week, but if he doesn't perform, may as well not play him either.
Time to start looking to the future and trying out these bigged up youngsters liek Wigan and Saints would do and stop playing these under performing players.
If Hodgson can't see this, then he isn't the man to take Hull forward IMO.
