He's more of a stand off but now he's lost his pace he could give it a go. We only had 5 hookers in the team on Saturday. I think we are one hooker away from having a winning team. I hope we've already phoned Tony to discuss it.

Remember that time at the Boulevard we had loads of Smiths playing, we could go, for Tony & Jason, while they are here.
I'd get him in as DOR he could oversee the move to our new training ground he has coached Hodgson and Ellis so will be a working relationship already there. Would get rid of Purcell and make Ellis the assistant coach
well hes really turned rovers right around, they were going nowhere, now they are going nowhere but in a different direction.i suppose hes had a memorable tenure at rovers, they won a final, well they beat hull in a derby, which is a final to them.we dont need him.

I'd go the other way. Make Hodgeson DoR and let him continue building our academy. Get Smith in to try and persuade the players to start running and tackling.

Just ignoring the Warrington and Leeds parts of his CV?

The club have done fantastic with 16s, 18s some great talent coming through but unfortunately taken our eye of the ball regarding first team recruitment, this needs to be sorted ASAP.
