Re Agar I couldn’t agree more, Leeds looked just like we did under Agars tenure particularly in the opposition 20. Can’t believe he got the job to be honest only reason I can see is same reason he got it at Hull as Hetheringtons yes man.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Looks like we might now also be in a position where scott taylor can be used in shorter more intense spells rather than over stretching himself all the time

Shaul had his best game in a long time and that pass to ratu was brilliant
Satae looks a different player now hes had a decent pre season and lost a few lbs
Sao was excellent, especially his first stint
Savelio was class. Keep him fit and he will have an outstanding season
Offloading plenty and, more importantly, players actually in position to take them
Mao and Jones both had strong games
Johnstone's did 70 minutes and didn't look out of place
Best thing for me was our attitude in defence. Last season Leeds would probably have scored another 3 tries
Satea looks much the same tbh. Just got a support network around him. But an utter weapon when the grounds firm up a bit Sao much the same..savelio looked international standard

satae was knackered after 1 run last season. Looks a lot fitter now. And either he's lost a few lbs or they have bought him some bigger shorts

Loved it !! Great opening 20 Intense and disciplined !! Great team effort - well done the whole team and coaches
Couple of talking points for me
1. Clock stopped and stayed stopped allowing Leeds one more tackle at 39.20 If they’d scored with 10 seconds to go would the ref be allowed to look at the clock on a replay ?
2. Hurrell - how on earth was he allowed to play until half time. Disgrace to player welfare. Watching on Sky you could see he was out of it after the collision. Donaldson also looked concussed. Don’t staff watch players after a head knock ????

He got used odd last year. His average over the four games was 9 n half metres a carry. Now he's got men around him he'll look even more devastating. He'll be dreamteam abouts this year
Sao and Manu will be instrumental in us trying to achieve anything this season Taylor will look a better player this year now he’s got others to share the load.

Complete performance, bigger faster, stronger, was we that good, or were Leeds that poor, Ligi, Sav, and our young hooker, some engines there. Team selection spot on, second half atrocious conditions, but just about error free, get Ratu signed up.
