Good to see our Community Player of the Year continuing his off field contributions of visiting Hull Royal to deliver presents this week and taking part in Danny Houghton's testimonial event at the City Hall in addition to attracting praise from Lee Radford for his energy and effort in pre season training.

Another year has past (so fast), but it's still good to see the back of Albert Kelly. Badum-tish.
Merry Christmas, one and... no, it is just me and thee now!

Albert doesn't usually say a great deal but he has a fair bit to say in this piece...oh, and 50-0 gets a mention too.
Hull KR Chairman Neil Hudgell, August 26th, 2014 said..
"In fact, the days of us signing any players from across the river are over. Our fans are loyal, passionate and only interested in one club. Taking players from our nearest rivals doesn't fit in with that brief."

to be fair he does say apart from the result he has a lot of positive memories of that final, and let's be honest KR massively overperformed to get there and were on to a hiding long before kick-off. Let's hope he's as good in 2018 as he was last season.

I've got a lot of positive memories of that final too.
20 pence says it something along the lines of 'Albert Kelly is determined to avoid the second season syndrome that has plagued his career so far, and admits he needs to back-up his strong performances in 2017 if he is to secure a new contract with the Airlie birds.'

Connor/Abdul are the medium / long term half backs for me. Not too shabby. Just have to enjoy Albert while he's here, however long that is. Will always be part of the immortals (mark 2).

AP’s latest comments on Kelly: Welcoming back Albert for the match against Catalans was a timely boost and it is clear the effect he has on our attacking options. We’re hopeful over the coming weeks to tie Albert down to another contract having made him a considerable offer to stay with the club.
He seems happy and settled with us as does his family which we know is very important to him and we hope the enjoyment of life in Hull outweighs the obvious financial gain of a potential return home. He has been an exceptional talent for us so far and we want him to stay for a while longer yet.
