I don't particularly think it's an individual player's fault but more of a system failure (apart from one Pryce error were Fonua gave him a round of the kitchen last night) We are far too condensed when defending and our sliding defence is caught out time and time again when the ball is moved with pace. Most teams attacking strength is down the left which isn't helping the right side issue. Last night the biggest problem for me was our ill discipline and the fact we continued to invite Catalan down into our 20. If not for that I believe the game would have been won comfortably.

You're the only one mentioning defeats. Why do you accountants have to make things up? Anyone would think you wanted to be a barrister really
Never made anything up. The glorious in defeat comment refers to the many who still hark back to the 1985 cup final. Great game to have been at, fantastic for the he neutral, but I don't feel the need to repeatedly watch a game we lost. Before anyone tries to jump on this comment, I can only imagine, but I doubt there are any Leeds fans who would watch the 2005 final an that be, wasn't it good to be part of that game.
I did think about going into the legal profession;-)

Agree with bombed out. Our sliding defense on that side is not good at times. Last night fonua and naughton on a couple of occasions where isolated. I for one would have tuimvare back at stand off when fit

My nerves are still in bits, but what a night !! We won when it looked against the odds with 15 to go, but we found a way, We're getting better at that. It was "the big" versus "the big", a real clash of the titans, an epic battle. and we had enough to finish on top even without Ellis.
Totally elated, and .......Parkers was bouncing !!!!

You were making it up the context of this thread though
Fonua needs dropping for Logan. Logan himself was dropped for less. Naughton comes in because he knows he can't trust his centre. Fonua is a winger, he should play there or not at all.

We should always be looking to improve. The moment we stand still and 'enjoy the ride' we start going backwards.

Improve? Yes, but singling players out for critiscism? No. I know it happens at our club far too often and has become the norm, hell, Casey did it regularly, thankfully he fell on his own sword. Adult discussion and enjoying the ride for me everytime
