Bowden was arguably the best prop on the pitch. Made excellent metres and bent the line.

Very good win. We looked excellent for an hour, dangerous in the opposition 25. Disappointing last fifteen to twenty minutes but that shouldn't take the shine off an impressive result. Salford will go well this year.

Some good individual performances. Scott Taylor was very powerful and Frank Pritchard simply awesome.

I thought he was outstanding - and good to see him playing without any strapping on his legs.

Great start to the season

Well impressed with Houghton after being a big critic of his last couple of seasons

Sloppy last quarter, hopefully radford will get that sorted out asap

Salford's number 6, lui looks a great signing and so does their number 11, although looks like he could get wound up easily

Thought the ref let the game flow well even if Salford abused the offside rule nearly all game

Onwards and upwards

Not a bad game i thought. Salford didnt get a look in for the middle 40 when we scored our points then took our foot off the gas which sort of slightly soured the end.

Hightlights were the forwards, Thompson went well i thought but im a little concerned about the Logan/Fonua side which looked rather suspect defensively

Very good performance from all , Hope Fonau and Manu just precautionary . Taylor, Big Frank both give great shows but Carlos really impresses me just what needed at centre

I had to leave straight after, i thought i heard him come back on but was wrong. Hopefully it's not that bad.

Radford said he wasn't overly concerned about the injuries.

Also the club are paying for a charted flight next week, looks like we are taking it serious to get off to a good start.

Job done, with some sparkling play in spells, played with verve and width in the middle 40. Pritchard again real class, Bowden, Thompson and Taylor were the pick of the forwards. As Paul Clarke said, Pryce and Houghton rejuvenated so far. Downside obviously "cue on the rack" in the last 20, but Salford are no mugs and their three quarters will ask a lot of questions of defences this year. Policing of the ruck was poor IMO, too much laying on. Pre match was pretty good too, stadium lighting and sound well put together. Two points and on to Catalans, will be a sterner test especially if Ellis, Manu and Fonua are out.

Can't argue to much with that performance really as nearly all have mentioned the sloppy 15 mins . Murdoch- Masila is going to be a handful this season .
