I had a nice coffee with her instead of watching Hull City at Wembley

I've always said that if we had to return to The Boulevard, I for one would be over the moon. Obviously, a re-developed Boulevard of course. Something on the same lines of The Halliwell-Jones.....But oval would be nice. I get sick of hearing how good the KC is.....It is, its lovely, its got the best toilets in RL, but I agree with Radders that its hard to fill with RL fans and will be even worse if they extend the place to get more 'soccer sheep' in! A re-developed Airlie Street site would be a guaranteed winner for the club and it would be ace hearing The Threepenny stand in full voice again.
The Flash Flanagan game this year made me realise how much I miss the place!

The HJ is rubbish compared to the KC, its like a non-league football ground.
I'd rather have 14,000 in a 25,000 KC (or a 30,000 KC for that matter) than 7,000 in a 14,000 redeveloped Boulevard. The attendances would drop for sure should we move.
Not that it will happen as thankfully the club has far more sense than Lee Radford or some posters on this board.

I can't see us ever moving back to the boulevard unless it was completely rebuilt as a modern facility and the capacity was around 20k. The one thing that I do agree with Radford about is that if the KC is extended then playing in a 35k stadium with only 12k fans would be awful.

So....You like the atmosphere at the Galpharm then i suppose?
Tell ya what fella, the KC is a nice stadium (I helped build the place), I really do like it.....BUT......IT HAS NO SOUL. Ok this might come with future generations of FC supporters, but i doubt it very much. FC fans have, over the last few years, seemed to have lost the position of noisiest in the league (apart from our trip to a final in Cardiff ). The Idea of hearing the Threepenny scaring the hell out of the opposition excites me, and if you have a long FC supporting memory.........IT SHOULD EXCITE YOU TOO!!!!! I bet if it was put to a vote for just those that have supported Hull FC for more than 10 years, then they would say a Boulevard return would be better than sharing a ground with another team that think they have a bigger say in the place!

tbh i started supporting Hull FC in the last few years of moving to the new stadium and id love to go back to the boulevard although the KC stadium is brilliant.
and i dont think attendances will drop if the boulevard was refurbished with nice toilets like the KC

Not bothered where we play TBH. The sheer variety of stadia in RL is one (albeit small) part of its appeal - love the idiosyncrasies of the old grounds and the comfort of the new ones. Can't see how the Boulevard could be brought up to standard though, unless the whoever stipulated we get another 20 year lease compensates us big time for breaking that contract.
Does anyone know why the main stand has been take down at the Boulevard?
