BUT
Hopefully next season we will have a more settled side and naturally the attacking options will get better.
I do not expect Crocker to come in and single handedly turn this team around but you cannot deny the guy is one of the most respected and feared players in the NRL and has the the ability to inspire players around him. Michael Crocker is one of the biggest signings this club has made and the only current aussie international since Sterling so to dismiss the scale of the signing is totally foolish.
We are short of a centre for next year. Do u think Horney or Thorman is being ear marked to play at centre. I cant see us signing him and using him off the bench. Is someone leaving that we do not know about. My personal opinion is that Horne is a natural fullback He is defencely sound and can chime into the line. It does make us stronger squad wise. He can even play Motu at hooker next year. Good signing, just need another prop and we should go alright next year.

while not been a expert on the giants, if the combo of 1 thorman 6 brown 7 robinson worked better than 1? 6 thorman 7 robinson then they'd go with that.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Good point. But im sure if Smith for some reason never got to play then Berrigan would be next in line even ahead of Burderus. Or maybe im just been biased.

Thorman was moved to full back in 2007 to accommodate Kevin Brown in the team. It was nothing to do with form or 'relegating' him to full back. Full back is a much harder position to play than stand-off.

Depends if your a better full back or stand off.
Wellens and Briscoe would find it harder to play stand off than full back

Wellens was originally a half back.
On the subject of Thorman, an excellent signing that provides us with a good kicking game and improved strength in depth in areas we struggled in last season.

.
Most kids who are good backs as youngsters tend to play in the halfs because they are the best players in the team and the half back positions are the hardest to fill.
