I just think he's a bit of a throwback to the days when full backs didnt really need to provide a creative outlet. He's solid under a high ball, his positional play is sound and he supports well. But he has next to no creativity or flair. Jamie Shaul was lacking in those areas too but at least he was an elusive runner with genuine pace. I just dont think hes good enough if we have aspirations of getting back to the top. I hope youre right though and we see him shine with better players around him.

I like Walker, good player, hope we keep him and hope he can keep fit. He's been injury prone his all career so far and deserves a bit of luck, because he plays like a winner. Been maybe our best of a bad bunch so far this year.

big difference is we had dominating forwards in 2016 plus Fonua was starting to become a real handfull for any defence

He showed a couple of times he can throw out a pass, both tys for Martin against Warrington amd Leeds.
Did it for Rovers too last year, needs to be judged in a better side, hard to be a pivot when your other pivotscare Charles, Smith, Houghton and Cator.

Martin apart Walker is by far our fastest back in the current team Like a previous poster has said if we can put a decent team together that actually competes you will see the best of Walker. Peters at HKR rated him highly and it was only because he had promised Hiku the full back position and had already signed GIldart for this season that he had to let him go Most KR fans also would have liked him to stay
