Lets get him back into the right centre.Ratus form has dipped since Connor was moved to 6. We need to have more of a settled team if we qualify for the play offs so lets start against Huddersfield with what is our best balanced team by moving Tuimavave to left centre and Griffin off the bench in the second row to add some impact
I'd question his attitude he's another Westerman who when we are getting beat disappears or goes off with a knock. I'd take the cash and go get another half or keep Connor and play him one

Problem Griffin has next season is we have Ma'u, Savelio, Lane and Jones all play 2nd row, 2 to start 1 on the bench so I can't see him getting in the 17.

Not sure why Griffin still gets the messy end of the stick from a few. Personally, I think it is in the top three for Player of the Season for us.

The solution is clear, Connor to Full Back.
Agree on griffin, he’d be in my starting centres, along with Connor, think Carlos came back in to easily, rather than fighting for the spot, or injuries dictated I guess, with having a injury prone 6
I still wouldn't be surprised to see a high profile departure as we have brought in quite a few expensive players and I'm not sure enough cap is leaving to cover it unless there is an increase in cap next year?
ma'u, jones and fonua will all be on a decent wedge.
Which big earners are we losing?
paea, manu and mini?
westerman reportedly on a low contract. green, hadley and litten on below average salaries? 2 or 3 fringe players leaving also but doesn't seem to free up that much cap for me

I have no basis to back this up but I see Ellis being a last resort next season given our recruitment is forward heavy.
As has been pointed out, we will have 4 wingers on the books (5 if MDJ stays). I'd expect a back or two to leave.

Another back who will benefit from forwards rolling downfield who have a pass in them.
His versatility really valuable though, just think we have better pack options.
Agreed, think Griffin has been pretty much the most consistent player this season and has really put some shifts in. I think he deserves his place in the centres next year. He could well be devastating down the edge next year if the forwards lay the platform like we hope and the improvement in the 2nd row, get Griffin the ball early and with a bit of space and he can really do damage.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
