good win today, eating my humble pie about Fash .Well played lad, also thought Johnstone had a decent game, a lot knock him on here but for me he starts next week. Effort commitment there in bucket loads, Hearing Taylor might be back next week to, Again well played lads

Well anyone who didn’t enjoy that, wasn’t at the game, it was gripping stuff, played by two teams who are not at their best, they both gave everything, and the atmosphere was superb, how Warrington stood firm against the rampaging Ligi, Chris, Fashy was testament to the desire of both teams, perhaps not the best quality but great entertainment.
A small number of wire fans, three coach loads helped the atmosphere, the east stand was also caught up in the spectacle, I leaped to my feet at the end, punching the air with pride and relief, oh for just a little percentage of that endeavour in the previous two games, well played both teams.

First and foremost great to see a win and Barometers out time - joint 5th So how it works is, we should finish 4-6th
Great to see a winning try at the end of a game as well.
some analysis - Offloads - 4-5 I counted maximum, awful statistic for a couple of reasons. The defenders can commit 3 tacklers as they know there’s no offload. This slows us down tremendously. Allows Opposition D to regroup every tackle. Also no support play!! again allows defenders to commit 3 players to a tackle.
You can’t beat top sides without offloads and support plays. It allows quick play the balls if only 2 defenders tackle an FC player.
This is what I meant by 5 drives and a kick.
Last kick options very poor as well. We have created the least amount of drop outs in SL this season.
Also I saw a kick go up from Jake and the centre and winger weren’t even ready and didn’t even pressure.
Who played number 6 today - no seriously who was it ? You can’t get to the CC or GF without a great 6 Why can’t Brett play Jake at 6 and find the next Pappenhausen - just an example of how Munster and Pappa play off each other.
Will we ever see Jake taking an offload off a 2nd row like Jamie took off Lane today. That was beautiful from both players.
Jake also saw the Clarke try but was too slow to tackle him.Watch how Jake tries but is too slow. I think the Clarke try also epitomises just where we are at times.
It was inexcusable on many levels.
as an aside - Storm played 2 trick plays off the scrum. They score off one and make 30m off the other and both same play. You’d think we might try something exactly the same! why not ?
Munsters try was utter class but I don’t see anyone trying the drop off dummy pass then scoot into the gap
I once saw Rob Nolan score the same type of try for Rovers in the CC v Ideal Isberg.
Just an aside but why don’t we copy some of the amazing things we see in the NRL ?
anyways a win is a bloody win and the dressing room will love that. Training is better next week and more fans may come to the Cats game.

At least we are assured of a play off place LoL
I agree we don’t turn teams around enough with a short kicking game, we seem to have adopted the tactical kicking high to the wings on the last play, it actually worked well today with magnificent defence.
The Clarke try took everyone by surprise, 99% are stopped by referees waiting for a retreating defence to set, or mostly Danny would be there to stop it.

Barometer only needs 9 matches so can be put away until next season. Super League table today is the predicted season finish. So Saints 1st and Toulouse last. Top 6 Saints, Wigan, Catalans, Huddersfield, Hull and HKR in more or less that order.
How did it go in the Covid ravaged 2021 season? Predicted correctly Catalans 1, Saints 2 and Leigh last.

Missed the game due to work, so I look forward to watching it later in the week. Sounded like a gritty win, making the yards, getting territory and failing to turn it into points, which seems a similar pattern. I've seen people mention out last tackle plays, but this has been a problem the last few year, even with Sneyd it was poor and we relied on the high cross field bomb.
Three poor tries to concede, the first one is awful, really poor concentration, the other two look at be Mcintosh's fault.
If we can win the next two we are in a strong position.

hard to believe it wasn`t a full house judging by the volume of noise.had to turn my volume right up to hear what the commentators were saying.but a good win for the team.
born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.
