Howarth is a complete waste of a bench spot. Comes on for the final 15 minutes and offers nothing

The use of the interchange bench has been pretty woeful this year.
The fact that he hasn't changed things round either personnel or game plan wise, even though we've been very poor, indicates to me that he's incapable of turning things round.
Crooks has gone, Naughton will leave. Any players with flair are soon disposed of. Sad.

Hope so. After Pryce's pi$$ poor display on Friday I'd stick him in at 6.
Saying that, I'd drop Yeaman and put Sa back in the centres, start Whiting in the back row and put Turgut on the bench instead of Howarth. But, this isn't RL Live. If it was, purely to give some of the players a kick, I'd go with:
Shaul Lineham Talanoa Sa Naughton Abdull Sneyd Watts Houghton Feka Whiting Mini Thompson

I didn't see last week so I don't know how bad he was, but I wouldn't personally drop Pryce after one bad game, I think his other performances so far have earned him a second chance as long as he's fit to play.
I'd go very similar to you, but Pryce still in, Abdull 13, Thompson prop, Paleaaesina bench, Rankin out.

Its just like having Agar back, players on the bench not being used or very sparingly, poor tactics, lack of support play, no dummy or angled runners, shocking last play options (if we actually have any) and no real desire to get up and at the opposition. We seem far to happy to wait for the oppostition to come at us that actually go to them and the players are constantly stood closely grouped when they receive the ball instead of running onto balls which means we see players running along the line yet again with little or no options.
Its more depressing now than at any time I can remember and I've seen some tough times but then the club was in a shambles off the field but now we have the club in a great position thanks to Pearson but his decisions regarding on field matters are destroying any chance of bringing the club back to the top.
Whilst the players are not faultless in their own performances a lot has to said about what for me appears to be a total lack of direction and enthusiam from the Coach. Its doesnt matter whether you are in sport or part of a team in a regular job if you have a poor manager/leader then your own performance in your job role suffer and create a general apathy as it breeds. This for me is part of the problem and the so called cancer, I think Gentle was trying to instill better in the club and feel he was given the chop because Pearson backed the wrong Donkeys.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

To be fair to Pryce I would say he has earnt the right to have an off night, the guy has proved my wrong and has been for me a very good addition. His desire and effort is there to see and I honestly think he looked as though he'd had enough of trying to bust his balls for nothing and no support from other players who should know better.
With the exception of Pryce, Mini, Paea, Shaul and laterly Lineham the rest of the 17 players have just not performed. Minichello has been an absolute joy to watch just a shame he is in such a poorly coached team.
