Cant decide whether to go. Tbh last seasons 42-0 tonking by Rovers is the biggest factor, theyve got a better team, weve got a worse one, just think its gonna be another embarrassment and waste of money

That's the spirit
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
New year, virtually a new team but same old same old. Tarquin rubbishing, from afar, an academy team being beaten by Championship 1 outfit and Seb, who no longer lives in Kingston upon Hull, can’t decide whether to attend a Derby because of an isolated previous result Nowt like supporting your team through thick and thin, is there. IAKOW Personally don’t think we’ll light up the universe but a steady 7th is realistic, as everyone else has stated, it all depends on the antipodean contingent settling early and everyone else giving 100%. Think Uncle Tony’s team will surprise a few. In AP we trust.

In any kind of weather eh
As someone has already pointed out we won the last derby, and quite often the underdog wins the derby its just how it is.
Truth be told I wouldnt say KR are a bad side at all but alot of questions will be asked of them this season. New spine practically, new captain and question marks over there goal kicking options. Nobody in there team sticks out for me as having a great kicking game and be interesting to see if Lewis can organise the side.
Id say with this in mind its hard to say they are a better team by alot and wouldnt be surprised if they nose dived this season. Abdul being shipped out shows a lack of inexperience by Peters for me. Its a gamble I could see blow up in his face.

I looked at their squad numbers when released and their first 17 is decent but after that their squad is pretty garbage. Outside of the 17 they only really have Tanginoa and Burgess who are decent recognised names. Bit similar to us really, but our squad depth looks ever so slightly stronger and a few of our younger players already have a couple of games in their tank. I can see Rovers struggling if they pick any injuries up, especially in the halves.
Ticket sales dont look too bad actually for a month away and the January pay day weekend yet to hit.
From the website looks a couple of hundred left in East Stand, 1000 left in south and about 1500 left in west lower. Rovers reported only a 1000 tickets left too.

I think that’s one thing that helps us is that we have signed 3 quota players who are all used to the league and 2 out of the 3 haven’t even had to move house, definitely helps with integration a bit more
