Let's just hope Darnell's upward trajectory continues as the Oracle informed us that he'd only ever be good enough for the reserves.

When I left for a little warm weather training, we’d been duffed by that lot, and looked for all the world the worst team in the league.

Darnell and a few others looked hapless, I got back for the cup game ( Griffs game) and the return league match again against saints, the transformation of the team is unbelievable, with certain individuals developing into fine players, lord knows what happened, but long may it continue, all along we needed a coach who could analyse the situation, Tony Smith has done a great job so far, been a pleasure watching our team lately.

Against Rovers five Hull players missed more tackles than Carlos, against Catalans nine more and against Saints eight more.

Never really been a stats sort of guy, I like to watch my team, Carlos hasn’t been good recently, as I said I hope he returns to his high standards as soon as possible, the emergence of Cam Scott and the solid performances of Sutty have made the centre position very interesting.

Assuming Sutcliffe and Savelio are fit I'd go:
1. Litten
2. Swift
3. Sutcliffe
4. Tuimavave
5. Mcintosh
6. Trueman
7. Clifford
8. Sao
9. Houghton
10. Fash
11. Savelio
12. Scott
13. Cator

14. Taylor
15. Satae
16. Staveley
17. Dwyer

Yes you can eat up the metres bringing the ball back, but if you were at the match, he made uncharacteristic errors, his game seems off, incidentally what marks did Dan our HDM writer award him. It’s all opinions of course, and I wouldn’t be averse to trying him in the back row, but for me if it’s a centre for centre decision Cam has his nose in front.

Think it would be difficult to transition from centre to second row at the back end of the season.
Have to run different lines, have to defend differently.
Things you’d work on in pre season.

Can see Staveley getting some game time now. Saturday would be a good opportunity to have another look.

I think as we pick up points it will be as you were, if our play off chance does evaporate then we have a real good opportunity to look at Nick and a few others at the expense of players who are departing or underperforming, one thing is nailed on, AP investment in youth is already looking promising.
