Houghton also out for the season, looks like Johnstone will be our starting hooker, but hopefully that will mean Balmforth gets some game time from the bench, thought it was strange he didn't play for the reserves. I ld rather try Smith at hooker personally.
Connor Litten Wynne Mitch Barron/Martin McNamara Gale Sao Smith Evans Longstaff Lane Fash

Maybe the club should ring Jacko and ask if he still has a pair of boots and fancies a game.
With Connor back I agree with you though about moving Smith to 9 with Balmforth on the bench as we are in serious need of movement and speed which JJ sadly doesn't possess.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Once again shows the total incompetence with on field and off field officials when big incidents like that are missed yet again even more so when serious injury occurs to the player.

The fact is was on TV makes it even worse. For all we've been poor we have had very little fortune lately.

Just seen Kane Evans in town and he said he is playing both games. I'd just seen the news about Liam Hood so told him. Said he hadn't seen the ban but Ma'u was livid in the changing rooms about the hit and had to be calmed down. Evans said the refereeing here is appalling, likely to go home and play reserve grade after next year

Hope there is a good turnout of Black and Whites fans also.
Not sure if Hull fans are aware but Salford RFLC is lobbying Salford City Council with a petition on the future of the AJ Bell Stadium and to ensure the club continues playing Rugby League at the stadium and it remains a community asset. Sale Sharks reportedly want to buy the stadium. We've had 10,000 plus signatures already for the e-petition, this cause continues to gather momentum, a link is below if anyone wants to support this initiative, it is appreciated.

Let's be honest we shouldn't be offering Evans a deal after is current one.
