Thing is, when it comes to recruitment overseas, Gaz Ellis' name and reputation is second to none in the NRL. Just a shame we can't utilise it fully due to the disparity in the Salary Cap.

To begin with, 2 big hard running forwards to replace Watts and Minichiello, and hopefully a back rower to replace Washbrook.

But a lot depends on Kelly, I’d marquee him (still a big ask) we look so much more of a threat with him in the team. Don’t think Connor or Abdull are the answer.

I’d keep Manu (big ask again) and Talanoa providing he can keep fit. Hopefully we will keep some continuity, feel this has been crucial to our recent success. The best sides keep the same core of players and add 2 or 3 each year to improve/freshen up.

Abdull is under contract till end of 2019. Signed a new deal with Watts last season.
