No doubt the consideration for fans attending the game come way down the list compared to Sky having a live game to show. I know the club will have corporates booked in, etc, but it's going to be a pretty miserable night if it's as cold as it is at the moment.

Currently forecast to be dry but feeling like minus six degrees with gusts of around 30mph.
Not going to be a classic game, lets face it.
The forecast is pretty similar to Leeds who have already postponed their game and who also have undersoil heating. Leeds will get an advantage ahead of next week game with a week to prepare and recover from injuries.

People stranded in their cars on the M62 near Saddleworth overnight - surely its not safe for Warrington fans and team to travel?

Don't think Leed's under soil heating has worked for ages. The M62 is still closed because of high winds and wagons blowing over

Hull FC can confirm that tonight’s fixture against Warrington Wolves is expected to go ahead as planned at the KCOM Stadium, kick off 7:45pm.
The club have been working closely with the Stadium Management Company throughout the week in preparation for the game, with the pitch and surrounding areas at the stadium not a concern.
Hull FC have also been in dialogue with Warrington Wolves, the RFL and Sky Sports with all parties keen for the game to go ahead as planned.
Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, it is the advice of both clubs that any supporters looking to travel any distance to the game that they allow extra time and take additional care on the roads.
The clubs are aware of the current closure of sections of the M62 and are monitoring the situation with the Highways Agency, whilst the majority of routes in Hull and the surrounding area are clear.
It is advised that supporters also keep themselves updated on highways closures/re-openings by checking online and social media.
Warrington Wolves’ official supporters coaches are still scheduled to leave the Halliwell Jones Stadium at 3:30pm.

yeah i remember something about the undersoil being taken out at headingley about 10 years ago, possibly more. apparently it was the first club ground in any sport in the uk to have it installed
