Tbh i think Wire are back on song - theyve looked a decent side again in the last couple of Sky games where as we are are still dropping the ball constantly every game and are looking far from decent. Add in our injuries and i only see a loss
Warrington have been no more than avarage every time I've watched them. Our performance against Cas wasnt great, but I am pretty confident it would have beaten Warrington.
I agree with knockers about Washbrook. He is a handy guy to have around the squad but he is just looking less and less effective these days. He mentioned the errors, at least most of Connors errors (like Kelly last year) come from trying things. When a player like Washbrook is making loads of errors thats just a liability, because his whole job is to be secure and dependable. My team (airing on the side of negativity with Kelly and Green) would be:
Griffin to cover back row but also gives an option should there be a problem with anyone in the backs. Also means that Connor could go in the halves if we need to shake things up for whatever reason. Litten to give us 10 minutes either side of half time to keep Hadley fresh. His speed around the ruck could be effective.
We have been very scratchy. Lackluster in attack againt Leeds. Huddersfield we were abject. Widnes should have been easier than it was. Wigan i thought we showed desire in defence and in attack we were still off it. The more games Tyrone Roberts plays the better we'll be. Roberts was having a fitness test before the match then got injured in the first few minutes but carried on.
Our forwards do look stronger this year, with Hill, Cooper, Akuola, and Crosby.Unfortunately we have lost Currie for 4 weeks which is a big miss for us. He already has a couple of assists.
Should be a good game however i expect you guys to win.

could be adverse weather friday, especially travelling over from the west, anybody coming over, safe trip and drive to arrive as they say
I'd be tempted to put Logan in centres with either Connor or Carlos to 6, Abdul starting at 13 which allows us Bowden on the bench with Masi, Fash and one other.

undoubtably he will get his chance and give us a bit of pace in the centres but although Radford hinted at changes i think he will go with much of the same team that played at Cas.If Kelly doesnt play then Connor is our best back up 6 and i would then play Logan in front of Griffin. With Manu back it should tighten up the right edge and we need a big bench as Warrington have big strong forwards. For me a bench of Bowden,Green,Masi and Griffin. No place this week for Washbrook and Fash.
Ratchford Mitch Brown Atkins Goodwin Lineham Patton Roberts Hill Clark Cooper BMM Hughes Westwood
Morgan Smith Crosby Akuoala Philbin
As previously mentioned, our attack is still misfiring, and we seem unable to put teams away. Defence has been decent but a good Sneyd kicking game will mean a reasonably comfortable victory for you guys I think.
Forwards were good against Wigan, but think Hull will provide a sterner challenge in that regard. Hull by 10 I reckon.
For me, I’d definitely get Litten into the 17. Hadley’s done nothing wrong but we miss Houghtons running from dummy half, need to mix it up from simply passing left or right. I’d go with (assuming no Kelly)

I thought the whole idea of a squad is when you get injuries you bring in your back up and not start changing the whole team around?
So keep Conner at centre and dont move him to the halfs, move Hadley back to loose/second row as thats meant to be his position then bring in Abdull for Kelly and Litten comes in for Houghton. Masi in for Taylor with Fash on the bench

Agree to an extent, don’t like moving players out of position but it’s not as easy as saying Littens back up hooker, go do what Houghton does for 80 minutes. Hadley starting and Litten off the bench would be a better balance for the team IMO, for now anyway.
