Attendances for international games have been struggling for a while. Chuck in the Friday night and Scotland being the opposition and it's no real surprise that the stadium wasn't rammed.

In the last five major international matches held in the UK before last weekend we had seen:

- the largest crowd for any international Rugby League game, ever;
- the largest attendance, by some distance, for a Kiwis series since 1947;
- the largest ever attendance for an England/GB vs Kiwis game.

The crowd at Hull KR was somewhat disappointing but the facts are that international RL crowds in this country are at record levels.

FWIW Friday's crowd was also greater than both of the following:

GB vs France, Headingley, 1991 (att: 5,284)
GB vs France, Boulevard, 1992 (att: 5,250)

Completely agree, had it been held in the KC they might have had a 1000 more turn up at best and the atmosphere would have been as bad if not worse. It was a throw away fixture for the RFL and they treat it as such.
