We should always be striving towards perfection, and we do seem to have shipped in a lot of sloppy tries down that right channel. I'm not too sure what the solution is, probably a mixture of poor reads by individuals and the defence getting sucked into the middle - plenty to improve on.
You don't win anything from peaking in May/June, as long as these things are ironed out by mid-August and we continue to gradually improve, happy days.

But surely, if that same team is at the top of the league then isn't that all that matters ?? ALL things considered that team are better than all the rest, and thats where we are now.
Where Radds believes we need improvement, I trust he and his coaching staff will carry on sorting it out and improving us.
Where is the harm in discussing things like this when the team and coaching staff will certainly be aware of it and working to correct it? As long as the discussion is free of ranting and/or insults I really don't see the problem.
A forum can't be just happy-clapping any more than it can just be doom-mongering. Neither is healthy.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
Fonua's defensive reads are terrible. His contact is very strong but poor anticipation. I also think with Manu inside him he can be quite lazy in the line. I'd try Gaz in the back row on right hand side inside Fonua if we're keeping him in the centre.
Saints 1st try was down to Naughton pushing in on Turner instead of sliding like Fonua and Carlos were doing in a 3 on 3 situation.
The 2nd try we just got our numbering up totally wrong leaving us with a 6 on 4 which is pretty much impossible to defend.
It improved in the second half because Carlos started defending at centre and Fonua was defending 3 in as well as Hadley coming on because Manu seemed to be struggling.
