He played as he has become in the NRL- an average reserve grade performer with no particular skill set. Obviously the Hull coaching team have plans for him but his defense needs major improvement and he is not pacey. Will be interesting to see how his game develops next year. ' Incidentally your assessment of Souths this season was spot on. I said a while back on here that it would be the' Year of the Cowboy'.

Has a decent kicking game but does lack pace. Saw a game a couple of months ago where he intercepted a pass but soon got run down ala Whiting.
Fonua is just as much at home at centre as he is on the wing so would like to see him given a run there, probably with Talanoa as his wing partner.
As you say he is definitely a 6 and I can't believe we signed him to play at centre.
I think we'll see Pryce getting less game time next season and hopefully we will have a good look at Carlos at stand-off.

I liek Pryce and has a lot to offer on and off the pitch, but we need be building for the future, so that has to be Carlos and Sneyd. Pryce can be used to slot in at halfback, FB, Centre or LF, when we have injuries.
Fonua and Logan in the centres would be my first choice.
Wings are a bit of a concern as we have 4 wingers, but they are either inexperienced or lack pace.

We need to find out as soon as possible next season whether Carlos will be able to take over from Pryce in 2017 or whether we need to be looking elsewhere.

Like you I think maybe he will take Rankins role.If he does it wont leave us with many options in the centres.
