The voting systems flawed, did he play more games?

Dugan, Widdop, Cooper, Rein, Frizzell and JDB were all better.

The St George Player of the Year award is votes by the players and coaching staff.

Another- the Red V Player of the Year is votes by Red V members who number around 20,000 I believe. This was won by Widdop.

If it was a fan vote I'd agree however he won the award given by the other players and coaching staff which has more legitimacy.
