There is a Book out Tomorrow called Hull FC 20 Legends which will have some real legends in it and some that are a matter of opinion because although though there are a few undisputed ones the rest of the so called Legends are a matter for debate and conjecture.

Steve Norton for me. The best player I've ever seen in a Hull FC shirt. A great memory sticks out from a derby game at the Boulevard. Before the teams ran out, with a packed house in attendance, everybody was wondering whether Norton was playing after being out injured for a few weeks. The announcer went through the Hull team until he got to number thirteen when he started saying "And a welcome return...", you couldn't hear anything else he said, must have been the loudest cheer all day.
Hull KR Chairman Neil Hudgell, August 26th, 2014 said..
"In fact, the days of us signing any players from across the river are over. Our fans are loyal, passionate and only interested in one club. Taking players from our nearest rivals doesn't fit in with that brief."

A few raised eyebrows, froth emanating from the mouth, blood pressure rising, steam coming out of ears, faces turning red, mad rush to post outrage on RLfans, etc.

Half of the 20 FC legends listed in the new book were born locally and internationals so Horne must be odds on to be there!
