Im embarrassed by some of our so called fans he is a great player who left us to go play for a better teamand club in fact the best in the country. He gave great service to Hull and as supporters we all have some great memories.
People around me last night trying to tell me hes rubbish and that we wouldnt want him in our team, thing is some of them actually believe it!!

Without wishing to go over old ground here, Briscoe moving on highlights a far greater issue for the club. Why do players feel the need to go elsewhere in order to fulfill their ambitions? Obviously, financial gains are one reason, but in a salary cap sport there are restrictions placed on the monetary incentives that any club can place on the table.
We are clearly viewed as a perpetual mid table side who constantly under-achieve and as such this makes it difficult to hang onto players who have ambition. This is a problem that Adam Pearson needs to address otherwise we will simply be a feeder club for those higher up the ladder, no matter how many promising youngsters we produce.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

I really don't understand why a minority of our fans give Briscoe such stick; we had more than our money's worth out of him. Someone on Twitter even called him Judas but you can't compare him to Cooke. Cooke broke his contract; Briscoe left at the end of his.
No doubt next season Lineham will be getting abuse from the moronic element of our supporters.
First there was wisdom Then there was knowledge Now there is only information
Usually the players getting stick are the ones doing a job against us or are likely to. The also rans rarely get any stick because they were either average when they were with us or aren't effective against us, so there's no point barracking them. Fans that say Briscoe is rubbish/wouldn't want him in our team are bordering on having the white van coming to their front doors.

Exactly, he's a quality player and his contact was up with us and he moved on. Fair enough. But he should still get some stick as every opposition player should.
It's a shame that people are so petty. As far as players are concerned it's a career, there's no place for sentiment or loyalty, in 10 years time his career will be over, he needs to take every opportunity he can get to win things and earn money. If we aren't good enough as a club to give him the opportunities he needs then that's our problem, not his.
Besides, the good times from 2008 to 2013 were pretty few and far between, and when I think of the highlights during that time he was responsible for most of them. I don't see how anyone can boo him.
