Excellent signing, not convinced about Washbrook, but will give him a chance and hope he proves me wrong.
Very happy with the pack, on paper the best I have seen, halfbacks should be better next year.
I wouldn't say our backs are average and if Radford uses them correctly and plays the right players I think they could do some damage and we could shock a few people.
To say I'm underwhelmed about washbrook is an understatement ! Ffs middle 8s here we come should cut our losses with Ellis too how many games has he not started or gone of injured since he came he's missed 10+ this year large chunk of £ wasted

We've just signed a kid from oversees who could slot in at 6 if the need arises. Hopefully not for next year anyway

I am positive Dave, I love Hull fc, and am well happy with the signings Motu as made. What I cant be positive about is the man responsible for gelling these players together next season and making us consistently competitive. Ive nothing against Radford and as always seemed a decent bloke when I've met him, but hes clearly out is depth, of course he'll improve next season with the calibre of players hes got at his disposal. But all I see is another season of frustration. The rest of this season will bring nothing but doom and gloom. New coach with an outstanding squad for next season would give me more confidence going into next season.
Don't take this as a negative post (I wish we had signed Manu), but I wonder if Hull are a bit behind the times. This season, the game seems to have moved away from the forward battle of previous years, with pace and mobility replacing the "heads down, booty up" style of play of seasons gone by. Added to this, a reduction in substitutions in 2017 (and I still think it might be 2016) will move the game even more into the hands of creative, quick players. So as the game is moving towards being more expansive and less in the forwards, Hull have significantly strengthened their forward pack. I'm not sure it wil work, but I hope it does.

Washy is a grafter and a good club man. We need players like that - someone who will give their all whatever is going on. He has stood out at wakey whilst they have been poor.
As for Manu, that is a top signing. The pack, as others have said will be awesome, but we have to hope the new backs are smarter to capitalise and that our half's stay fit and can pick them out. We also need to have better support play to take the offloads that come from Watts etc.
you still need big mobile forewards.souths won the grand final last year, with a team based on big forewards.i do agree u also need speed in your threequarters, leeds are an example.
