played 7 at Doncaster for one match and had a good game.His kicking on the day was very good by all accounts.

Should play one of the 19's halfs in from of Naughton at HB.

Abdul has it in his locker, it was a mixed bag on Friday, but I have seen him kick really well for the 19's, his bomb is great if he can get the range right.

Lacks the skill set for hooker IMO. Never worked when we tried it before, and whilst he's played plenty of games I haven't seen since, in those I have seen I've not seen anything to suggest it would be different now/next season.

Naughton pushed himself into the wing position by banging on Radfords door so wouldn't surprise me if he fancies a go at 7.
Whatever the situation is with Houghton he cant play 5 games in two weeks without a rest or interchange so its Rankin at 9 for me.
Then again Hadley is fit and has been used there before.

He's done it for us when needed but he isn't a hooker. He isn't a dummy half runner and his pass is ok but isn't giving anyone a head start.
There are plenty of hookers around that would do that job better.

I hope he isn't leaving. He's been consistently very good for Wakefield. Some have criticised him but mainly just for not being Sam Burgess or Andy Farrell in my opinion. When you let him do what he is good at which is tackling and running wider he is worth a place in most teams.

Pretty much as I thought, thanks for confirming. His ball-playing was always his weakness with us, and I just don't see him being quick enough off the mark to be a dummy half runner. In an emergency maybe an ok option, but as a dedicated hooker, just sign a hooker.
