dont chomp then, take a chill pill.
Sometimes i find it impossible to read some of the guff here. But its peoples opinions.
Before the internet we'd be stood at rugby or in a pub, all having the same discussions, and guess what, not everyone would have the same opinion on everything.

As a cas fan I'm on the fence with ben crooks. Yes he as potential, he's still very young and with a coach like daryl powell working with him I'm sure the lad will improve, as did snyed under powell.
Just wondering about the registration fc hold. Lets say no one will pay a fee for him, does that mean fc have to pay his wages for the remaining year of his contract, even if the lad never plays......sure it wont come to that. So the club buying or paying a transfer fee for crooks could hold the cards in negotiations. If fc want rid then they may have to accept a lower transfer fee or pay his wages.

Depends on the opinion, doesn't it.
If an opinion has a foundation of ignorance and is absent of any facts, especially when it's come from someone who has previous form for displaying their close-minded attitude, then it's pretty difficult to be constructive about, or enter into any proper discussion.

Just a thought.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt FC are paying his salary, as his contract would be ceased, moving to NRL, the only thing would be a nominal fee for his registration.
Regarding Ben,a great natural player, but it looks as if his mentality maybe a problem, as he is currently not selected for Parra's feeder team, and Magpies are bottom of the league.
I heard, he has a hip/groin problem, which inhibits his natural growth ...
IF Powell can improve him, he has heaps of potential. -IMO

FC paying Crooks will depend on the contract, rather than the registration. So if Crooks was released from his contract, he therefore stops getting paid by Hull.
(I think) Hull FC have retained his SL registration until then end of the originally contracted period (2016?). Although, the RFL rules state that a player if not contracted, can ask the RFL to remove them from the register.
Compensation-wise, I think as he's 22 the compensation period has expired (if he was released, which I'm not sure whether he definitely was or not).
