Was he that bad?
He was like at Hull, but wasn't consistent enough particularly against the better teams, although I have him over Yeaman in our current side.
His try was appalling defender by kelly and Sio though.

I'll go a little against the grain and say he wasn't, IMO. I thought when he first signed there were definite signs that he was rusty and lacked a little confidence in the tackle (probably from his shoulder troubles). Later though, when he put a run of games together I thought he looked good. Quick, quite strong with the ball, and very good footwork I thought. A bit unfortunate that each time he got into a good run of form he then picked up an injury. I would have had him and Crooks as my first choices at the time, and I've have him over Michaels but not Sa (when fit).

The backline should be
Shaul Naughton Talanoa Sa Lineham
How Radford cannot see that this has a good mix of pace and power is beyond me.

I know it's not always the case that the majority are right, but I think it speaks volumes that with all the possible various permutations there is actually a lot of consensus amongst fans for a lot of our team and we don't see it reflected in the teamsheet. It's so frustrating.

Aye. Didn't one of your posters commented at the time, that was a bullet dodged or words to that effect. IMO. The most influential signing in Super League during pre-season, obviously shared by HKR who have extended his contract.

He's a very good player. No doubt about that.
But i fear he is one 'heavy tackle' away from a career ending injury. Wasn't his knees suppose to be shot?
You took the gamble and currently it is paying off but things could change very quickly.
Same applies to Kelly to some extent but been younger he was not so much a gamble.

campese doesn't look to play like someone with dodgy knees. Doesn't shirk the tough stuff at all. I'd heard he had agreed to join us then we pulled out due to injury concerns and signed pryce instead. Looking like a poor decision right now
