Finding cheaper replacements is not the way forward, if Pearson thinks Taylor will fill Paea's boots he really is deluded and once again a top 4 team (Leeds) carry on going forward. Oh well, oh well.
its not a case of letting him go if he is out of contract, we cant do anything about it if he decides to better himself at leeds

Maybe not, but if he goes I doubt we will get a better prop and the signing of Taylor will be proudly announced by the club. Leeds have a better chance of winning silverware simply because they don't let good players go. We need a coach who is not prepared to let this type of thing happen, it's frustrating and annoying. I know he has not signed for them yet but would anyone bet against it?

Well, if I was him, and saw that someone had started a thread on the Hull FC forum about me, I'd be pretty upset they hadn't spelled my surname correctly. Hope we get him signed up PDQ.

The coach nor the owner can force anyone to stay whom doesn't want to, if he sees his future elsewhere we can't stop him. That said IF we had kicked on from 2013, or even remained static at around 6 that would be a bit more pull than a club currently languishing in the bottom 4 for most of the season.
Neither of our clubs can complain, Rovers lost him the same way FC may loose him, If we thought he was that good he should have been on a 5 or 6 year contract then he can't go without atracting a large fee, Both our clubs have complained when players move on to so called bigger clubs, but non of us are prepared to back our judgement & tie players up to long contracts.
