Ellis was tremendous considering . Didn't deserve to be on a losing side. Did the work of 3 props. His own. That of bowdens n due to fekas short spells his as well. Going forward I'd speed up Ellis s career move to prop now n start with thompson at 2nd row. Bowden isn't offering much n green was left out for 2 18yr olds even though 1 of our front line props dropped out. So think that shows what Radford's thinking about his form right now
What I'm most depressed about is the nagging thought that they held back against Salford (and paid the price) saving themselves for this. Missing Watts late on was a blow as it left the front row too light and meant Ellis's defence out wide was missed, but that would have only reduced the margin of defeat as there's obviously a lot more to be done. I'm another who doesn't buy this short turnaround argument. Even if 5 days has some effect, which is questionable, I would have expected a collapse after 70 mins or so - not 40.

Suppose to many that justifies Westermans utterly deplorable performance??
"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."
An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Westerman was very good in the first half (looked like the Westerman from last season), but along with the rest was terrible in the 2nd half, looked tired.
Again another coaching mistake not using his subs correctly.

Shocking second half performance. 120 mile round trip for that. Very eff'd off with the where we are going, can't see a win in the next two games. Radders interview on Blunderside was deplorable. I cannot do with the excuses, its the same for the other 11 SL clubs, they cope, we don't. Oh and I'll be getting it in the neck for the next week back in the office. Same old, same old.
Think most has now been said regarding last night but even this morning I'm still angry about it. Can't believe we are now using injuries as an excuse like we are the only team that suffers them. Buck stops with Radford for all facets of the coaching and match performances regardless. For the good of the club he needs to go. We are a better team then that just need a coach who knows what he's doing.
We definitely were pathetic and abysmal, ive never been convinced by the Radford appointment and think out attacking play is not only predictable but dull.....however just to add a bit of perspective for the rest of the season...
There are 7 teams which I fully expected to finish above us (Sts, Wire, Wigan, Leeds, Hudds, Cats & Salford) before we started the season, leaving us to fight it out with KR, Cas, Wakey & Widnes for 8th.
Looking at our start i thought we'd be 2 points from 8 at the very best (although thought we had best chance of beating Salford not Hudds). We haven't yet played anyone in the latter group yet. I know we cant just rely on beating those at the bottom but I dont think we're consigned to the bottom 4 just yet.
